Emanuele Iovini

Specialist in the Prevention & Outreach at EC3, Cybercrime Centre, Europol

Emanuele Iovini has joined Europol in 2024, as E-Governance expert in the Prevention & Outreach in EC3, the Cybercrime Centre of Europol. He holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering with top marks with a thesis on the analysis of an Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) attack sequence and its reconstruction using forensic analysis techniques. He has served as a police officer since 2018 in the Italian National Police, working in countering cybercrime and carrying out international cooperation activities at the National Cybercrime Centre for Critical Infrastructure Protection (CNAIPIC). In Europol he provides full support as a specialist to the Prevention & Outreach team, covering a large scope of activities as outreach, public-private partnership, prevention and awareness, cooperation with external/EU partners and promotion of Law Enforcement Agencies’ interests on E-governance at EU/international level.
