Stefano Bistarelli is full Professor of Computer Science at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Perugia (Italy). He was previously Associate Professor and Researcher at Università di Chieti-Pescara and research associate at Institute of Computer Science and Telematics (IIT) at the CNR (Italian National Research Council) in Pisa . He was Post Doc Student at University of Padua, visiting scholar at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Visiting professor at Université Paris Dauphine. His Ph.D. in Computer Science at University of Pisa was awarded as the best Theoretical Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Thesis (awarded respectively by the Italian Chapter of the European Association of Theoretical Computer Science (EATCS) and by the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence (AI*IA)). Some collaborations, invited talks or visits involved also others research centres (INRIA, Paris; IC-Park, London; Department of Information Systems and Languages, Barcelona; ILLC, Amsterdam; Computer Science Institute LMU, Monaco; EPFL, Losanna; S.R.I, San Francisco). His Researcher interest is in Cybersecurity, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence and Knowledge Representation. On these topics he has published more then 250 articles in Journals or conference proceedings. Actually he's leading the Italian Distributed Ledger Reseacrh Group, the Cybersecurity Research Lab and the Knowledege Representationa and Automated Reasoning Lab at University of Perugia.
